Mixed-Media Layout 'Strasbourg' for Words&Paintery

Hello!

It's time for a new challenge at Words&Paintery. And this time I created a layout which I want to share with you:

I should admit that January challenge wasn't so easy for me. The color combo seemed to be hard (especially these two greens), but I hope I succeeded.

I couldn't find a pattern paper that fits me so I decided to create a background by myself... I took acrylics and painted a cardstock in a color that I needed and created some texture. 

On this layout I used different fabrics, modeling paste, chipboards, wooden and metal embellishments, book page for a flower, die cuts, thread and other - everything I found in my stash. It was fun!

Shaker Christmas Card

Christmas is knocking on the door!!!

Just a last share before the Christmas - my shaker card:

All these sequences and beads inside the window are moving when you shake a card :)

This year I was totally inspired by the snow outside!
Here in Montreal (Canada) we had already -25C! Now it's warmer but snow is everywhere! How I love it! :)
There is a Christmas spirit in everything! Lots of decorations and holidays mood! Smell of cinnamon and mandarins can't leave you indifferent :)

With my card I want to enter a Canvas corp brands December challenge and Mixed Media Place December challenge.

A Winter Card "Happy Holidays"

Magic in the air!

For me - winter is a magical season. Not only because of all winter holidays, but also because of snow! I’m happy like a child when it’s snowing!

I love snow! And I really missed it while we were living in Paris (France). And now I’m so happy to see it everywhere here in Canada! :)) 

And today I want to share with you my new winter card:

This card was created for Words&Paintery December challenge and I was also inspired by Scrapki-Wyzwaniowo challenge, Mixed Media Place and A Vintage Journey December challenges.

Mixed-Media Christmas Card

Hello!!!

Christmas is coming!

And it’s time for Christmas creations!!! 

So my first holiday card is in traditional colors:

I took a white cardstock, gessoed it, did some stenciling with a modeling paste and colored it with Prima Gold spray. I also colored flowers and cheesecloth in gold and red colors. Distressed pattern papers. Then I die-cut ‘Merry Christmas’ and heat embossed it. And in the end I added sequences and beads. 

The card turned out so shiny :) but it was hard to catch it on camera.

Red and gold are so inspiring combination!

Yarn Letter

Hi!!

Today I have just a little post to show you a Yarn Letter that I made for my daughter’s room – “V” is a first letter of her name.

I used a letter from papier-mache about 10": wrapped it in yarn and decorated with self-made flowers from felt, pearls and brads.
