Mixed-Media Layout 'Strasbourg' for Words&Paintery

Hello!

It's time for a new challenge at Words&Paintery. And this time I created a layout which I want to share with you:

I should admit that January challenge wasn't so easy for me. The color combo seemed to be hard (especially these two greens), but I hope I succeeded.

I couldn't find a pattern paper that fits me so I decided to create a background by myself... I took acrylics and painted a cardstock in a color that I needed and created some texture. 

On this layout I used different fabrics, modeling paste, chipboards, wooden and metal embellishments, book page for a flower, die cuts, thread and other - everything I found in my stash. It was fun!

Vintage Mixed-Media Layout “TOURIST” for Words & Paintery

This photo was taken a couple years ago in Valencia (Spain). Spain is one of my favorite countries!!! A lot of good memories will always stay in my heart.

Mixed-Media Layout “DREAM”

Hello!

Today I want to show you something different:

This layout was inspired by Berry71Bleu challenge dedicated to Fantasy Genre. I love fantasy! I was inspired at first glace!

I also used a beautiful color palette by Mixed Media Place as an inspiration – I liked the idea of gradient color background. 
And the 13@rt challenge together with Mixed Media Place inspired me for my quote. I chose - DARE TO DREAM BIG, be courageous! Big dreams encourage us for big actions. Take a key and open the door to your dreams…

The layout is very dimensional but unfortunately it was hard to catch it on camera.

Mixed-Media Layout “DIEPPE”

Hi!

Today I want to share my new layout with you.

These photos are quite old – it is my older daughter when she was 1 year and a half and me. I always wanted to scrap these pics to remember our trip to charming Dieppe (Normandy, France). This is a small town/port on the English Channel with a gorgeous rocky seaside.

It is known for the Dieppe Raid during Second World War.

Close-ups:

I love the combination of blue and green colors, especially turquoise color. This color really inspires me a lot! So I couldn’t pass by the challenges, the moodboards of which are such beautiful.

So I want to play along next challenges:
